| Biography
A talented and versatile
character actor, T David Rutherford began performing on the stage at the
age of 12. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas he was a ‘Preacher’s Kid’
who grew up in the Midwest in Missouri and Kansas. He learned to talk
in Hartford, Connecticut while his father was in seminary. “That
was the first great trauma of my childhood. I considered myself a Texan,
but I lived in the Midwest and sounded like Teddy Kennedy”, he says.

in volunteering throughout his life, including scouting through which
he even attended a World Jamboree in Japan, became an Eagle Scout and
was active with the American Red Cross Disaster Services. Out of high

take” he says. “I was more interested in the campus radio
station and the theatre than studying”. He finished his degree in
broadcasting and speech communications at Wichita State University. After
college he spent some time in radio, and entered sales, selling everything
from radio and TV ‘Air’ time to heavy industrial cranes and
road graters, finally settling on a career in computers.
Active in radio and
TV voice-overs, commercials, industrials and independent films, he has
performed in theatre since childhood, professionally since 1990. He has
been seen on stage throughout the front range of Colorado including Aurora
Fox Theatre, Town Hall Arts Center in Littleton, the Nomad in Boulder,
